Construction Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, and procurement strategies
- Lead and coordinate construction activities, ensuring project milestones and specifications are met
- Assess and select contractors and subcontractors based on expertise, experience, and cost-effectiveness
- Track and report on project progress and KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and legal requirements
- Oversee and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication and align on project goals
- Provide leadership to the project team, fostering collaboration and high-performance culture
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- 4+ years of experience in construction project management, with strong track record of on-time, on-budget delivery
- Proficiency in construction management software (Primavera P6, Smartsheet, MS Project) and CAD software
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and engage stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and construction schematics
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications
